You Don’t Need a Coach

"I don't need your support," said a client recently. And I couldn't agree more.

They, and you don't need a coach.

You don't need to become anything - learn anything, gain anything, lose anything - to be fully you, and to love your self.

You, don't need anyone telling you how to live your life.

And you certainly don't need a coach telling you subtly that you aren't enough by painting their vision of who you 'could' be.

Exactly how you are, you are already enough - you are valuable. (And that 'you' includes all your ambitions, study, hard work, changes of direction, skill-building...all your plans, hopes and dreams.)

You have immense wisdom, innately. You have a built-in, indestructible guidance system.

Of course, we all have the ability to ignore that inner guide.

We all have the freedom to get tangled up in old stories and patterns that don't reflect who we are.

When we do, it's great to have someone to run things by, someone who instinctively understands and reminds us who we are. I have two such ongoing conversations in my life, and I appreciate their insight immensely.

Like a mirror, they reflect me back to myself.

"I don't need your support," my client said. "But I do so value it."

These days I hang out with my little cat colony, drink a lot of coffee, help clients solve life problems, support people who have been hurt by cult-like groups, host my local poetry society’s online gatherings, read, write, teach nonduality, and play with this expanded understanding of who we are and how it shows up. And it’s so simple. But simple doesn’t always come easy when we have a lifetime of conditioning on top. So, I’m here to help you uncover that simplicity, and reconnect with life.
